This is a page that identifies who people are in my writings, in opposite order of appearance:
Smiles: Best friend from High School. He's a Marine helicopter pilot so we lead very different lives, but when we get together it's like we're still in High School. I wish we spent more time together, but it's just one of those things. He has a certain life that's very different than mine and we struggle to tie them together. Best of luck to him in Iraq though April 2009.
Skeebee: Another great friend. I met this dude on an airplane years ago. He sat window, I sat aisle. Middle seat empty. From Detroit to St. Louis, no conversation. From St. Louis to San Diego, a HUGE dude sits between us and we talk about hockey the entire flight over top of him. Been great friends ever since!
Bellagio: One of my best buds...known him since college (Irony, Bellagio, and I all went to the same school). Surfer dude, always looking for his goal in life, but recently very very driven. We're sharing business ideas...
RunnerGirl: She lives 120 miles away, but we seem to get along very well from a dating perspective. She runs 7 miles every single morning during the week. She's crazy. <smile> Update 09.13.2008: this one's fading fast...
Dee: Married to Peej, fantastic girl. Peej and Dee bring their dog over to run in the backyard with mine while we're all at work. It's nice to have tired dogs when you come home!
Peej: Good friend as of the past year or so, watched a lot of playoff hockey together. All-around fun guy to be around, always in a great mood. Married to Dee.
Cake: One of my best friends. Recently going through what looks to be a divorce. We're beer drinking buddies and occasionally have a cigar or two together.
Knife: How I like to refer to my "kniving ex-wife". <chuckle> It makes me smile whenever I say it.
Vee: Irony's wife, mother of my Godchild. One of the sweetest people I know.
Irony: Best friend, best man at my wedding, the kind of person that's easy to look up to. Father of my Godchild. Married to Vee.
QTMama: One of my best friends, the inspiration for creating this blog, have known her since high-school (which seems like forever ago).
